Jessica is motivated by the female experience and capturing the symbols, objects, and feelings that have shaped how she understands the world as a woman and as an artist. This is often accomplished through the act of reimagining, whether transforming an object into something entirely different from its original purpose or reinterpreting and isolating a scene through painting. Jessica enjoys depicting scenes that may appear subtle and calm at first glance, but upon further looking and contemplation, present something much more personal and complex.
